7:00 pm:  This year's going to be different...School Year Resolutions for Parents and Teens with ADHD - with Dr. Lori Perez, the executive director of the ERG

Others may think the new year begins in January, but for those of us with kids, September is the time when many families make their best resolutions! Join Dr. Lori Perez and her team at the Educational Resource Group for an interactive discussion on strategies for a successful school year. First, we'll learn how to tell if learning problems are bigger than attention, disorganization or a lack of study skills and discuss what to do about it. Next, we'll uncover some helpful academic coaching strategies to support every family. Finally, we'll provide space for planning and implementing our own School Year Resolutions.

Bio: Dr. Lori Perez is the executive director of the ERG. She is a nationally certified school psychologist specializing in early intervention and the neuropsychological origins of learning disorders. She is a Professor of Psychology at Anne Arundel Community College. Dr. Perez has presented and published at both the local and national levels and has served as an educational consultant to various school districts in the area.
