7:00pm:  Diagnosed with ADD-- What's Next?
               with Diego Escobosa, MD

A practical approach to living with Treated Attention Deficit Disorder

Why do patients' experiences with ADD medications differ so much? Do ADDers' personality, intelligence, and temperament matter, or does the diagnosis pretty much sum them up? Why is it often a waste of time to find which ADD medication "fits" a particular patient? This talk will discuss these and other questions that patients and their parents often have. The talk will primarily address adults and adolescents, but questions about younger children are welcome.

Dr. Diego Escobosa has been a pediatrician in private practice in Annapolis since 1998. He has a special interest in learning disabilities, including ADD and Autism Spectrum Disorders, and how children compensate for these tremendous obstacles to learning and emotional well-being. He also has a small adult ADD practice. He has two boys, Pablo and Mateo, and lives with the Irish Battle Wench in Annapolis
