7:00 pm:  Got Homework?  Good luck…  with Dr. Lori Perez, NCSP .

They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.  Many parents find truth in this mantra, but when it comes to homework, it feels like an outright lie. Truth be told, there are some days where it feels that homework could quite possibly be the death of me! Add to that the special needs of a child (or parent) with ADHD or executive functioning weaknesses and it seems like an absolute recipe for disaster.  But, it doesn’t have to be this hard!  Come prepared for an honest look at homework and the role of technology in our children’s lives.  Learn how a few simple modifications to schedule, environment, and perspective can offer a lifeline to a more productive, peaceful, and successful school year.
