7:00pm: Effect of ADHD on Marriage: Differences between Partners, Dynamic Patterns and Treatment Suggestions with Teresa M. Hunt, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Hunt will be presenting the main concepts of Melissa Orlov's book The ADHD Effect on Marriage, and also talk about Imago Relationship Therapy as a form of treatment.
Teresa M. Hunt, Ph.D. is a Certified Imago Therapist and Licensed Psychologist who has specialized in individual and couples psychotherapy for over 25 years. She was clinically trained in the Columbia, Harvard, and University of Michigan Medical School Systems. In addition to Imago Couples Training, she has also had training in EFT Couples Therapy and the Gottman Approach. Her work includes Psychodynamic Individual Therapy, Imago/EFT Relationship Therapy, ADHD Counseling, and therapeutic work around anxiety, depression, coping with grief and loss, and other concerns. Dr. Hunt is a clear thinker and a dynamic presenter, and thoroughly enjoys connecting in a group format. She brings transformational expertise to enliven the ways partners learn to increase passion and communication.
