7:00pm: Mindfulness Meditation for Holiday Om! with Jill Penaloza, LCPAT, GCP
Mindfulness trains the brain like physical exercise trains the body. In this experiential workshop, participants will learn about and practice moving and non-moving forms of mindfulness and meditation to help improve attention and impulse control and decrease stress levels. A user-friendly at home practice guide with resource list will be provided.
Jill Penaloza, LCPAT, GCP, is a licensed Art Therapist and a certified Group Psychotherapist in private practice in Annapolis, MD. Jill uses cognitive behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices and creative expression to help clients experience an increased sense of belonging and connection. In addition, Jill is a Shen Zhen Gong* teacher and practitioner.
