7:00pm: Anxiety, Depression & ADHD - Optimizing Your Treatment with Jack Vaeth, MD, Psychiatrist

Which came first the chicken or the egg? And doesn't this apply to the co-occurring features of anxiety and depression often seen in individuals with ADHD. Clinicians perplexed, will often treat the most concerning symptom. Though at some level this makes sense, it seldom results in optimized treatment. If untreated or partially treated ADHD is already compromising your full potential, why add other psychiatric and medication puzzles on top of this? Let's take a common sense approach to these overlapping symptoms, together!

Jack Vaeth, M.D. is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Medicine with his residency completed at Sheppard Pratt. He continues as an ECT physician at Sheppard Pratt with private practices in Hunt Valley & Annapolis. He is the psychiatrist at the Maryland Institute College of Art and a consultant for the Baltimore City Public Safety Infirmary at Mercy Hospital. As an adolescent and adult psychiatrist, his primary interests include ADHD, mood, anxiety and psychotic disorders.
