7:00 pm: ADHD Survival Guide for High School: A Teen Perspective with Katie Theeke, M.S. Ed

Katie Theeke, M.S. Ed, and her students will be presenting on the challenges and solutions to managing ADHD and anxiety in high school. The students and teachers at WRUS have been surveyed on what strategies work best for fostering and supporting student attention, organization, positive relationships, and motivation. The results of their feedback will be shared as well as a look into how students can tap into their personal strengths as a platform to overcome their challenges. Students will be answering the question why relationships, advocacy, and acceptance is critical to learning. Participants will leave with helpful strategies and a renewed motivation for how to help the teens in their life find happiness and success in school.
