Teens with ADHD are not always ready for the transition to college or a full time job after high school. Dr. Ruth Hughes will talk about assessing readiness with your teen and how to plan a year of growth and exploration for those not ready to move on.
Bio
Ruth is a clinical psychologist, a mother of an adult son with ADHD and learning disabilities, and the former CEO of CHADD. She is the coauthor (with Chris Dendy) of Ready or Not: The Transition to Adulthood with ADHD, which will be published Spring, 2020. In her retirement, she is working part time at Howard Community College with students with disabilities.
