7:00 pm:  ADD & Romance: Approaches to Enhance Your Emotional Intelligence and Improve Connection
with Teresa M. Hunt, Ph.D.

Come join us on Valentine’s Day for an evening of illumination and connection. We will be discussing the neuroscience of relationships and strategies to make couples feel more safely connected. Enhance your ability to effectively communicate frustrations and learn how to best honor and understand your partner’s needs for intimacy. Learn more about the impact of ADHD on relationships and approaches that work to manage them. We will present the concepts of emotional reactivity and instinctual survival strategies that can get in the way of an individual's happiness, which is especially relevant when ADHD is added to the picture. The importance of becoming aware of one’s reactive style and its impact on relationships will also be addressed. The presentation will be enlivened by demonstrations and informal conversations to bring the neuroscience to life.
