7:00 pm:  Career Development for Adults of All Ages with ADHD
with Denise Bike, Ph.D. 



Dr. Bike will be describing the key components of ADHD as a condition affecting executive function and identifying the potential impact of ADHD on the career development process. She will be facilitating attendees to develop one to two realistic career-related goals and one to two tangible objectives per goal.


Bio:

Denise Bike, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in private practice who specializes in working with adults who have ADHD. She sees patients at the Chesapeake ADHD Center in Silver Spring and at Baltimore Minds in Roland Park.

Dr. Bike began developing her training in career counseling at the University of Missouri’s Career Center in 2008. She then taught Career Development courses and supervised Master’s-level career counseling trainees from 2010-2012. From 2013-2015, Dr. Bike was a full-time faculty member at Loyola University Maryland where she taught graduate-level career development, assessment, counseling, and diversity courses. Dr. Bike co-wrote the online course Career Planning: Charting Your Future for the Center for Distance and Independent Study. Her co-authored chapter on career counseling is published in the American Psychological Association’s Handbook of Multicultural Psychology.
